We are just a block from the beach on Wailua River.

Can we get to the ocean without crossing a road?

Absolutely! You can take the path that goes under the bridge.

A favorite spot for locals to hang out is where river & ocean meets

next to the same bridge.

Do you provide kayaks for guests?

Sorry no, (insurance issues) but kayak rental is only half a block away near the bridge.

How far are the grocery stores, shops & restaurants?

There are multiple grocery stores as well as dozens of shops & restaurants between 1/2 a mile & 3 mile.
